- URL tag changes:
Use "ref=" instead of "ref2=" to set reference stock or index.
Use "width=" instead of "w=" to set chart width (in pixels).
Use "price=" instead of "p=" to set the closing price of last data point.
The "cs" tag is changed. Chart type and chart stype are now seperated into two tags. Instead of using "cs=Weekly1", now please use "p=w&cs=1" or "t=weekly&cs=1", meaning Period being 'w' and ChartStyle being '1'.
- Strength Bars and Buy Sell Hints
Two groups of bars: one at the bottom of the main chart and the other on the top. The lower group measures the market trend (vs. the bond market). The upper group measures the relative strength against the market or a reference of your choice.
Each group has four bars. Short-term strength bar (STS), Median-term strength bar (MTS), Long-term strength bar (LTS)
and the fourth one called Buy-Sell Hint Bar (BSH).
The hint bars (BSH) indicates possible bar and sell signals, as well as relative strengths against the references. Very usefil if used properly.
But some of these signals are false signals and it takes an expert to make proper interpretation.
- Reference selector:
In the middle of the right hand side of the chart page, there is a option box named "Reference". Changing the reference will trigger the updating of the current chart.
The list of the references (indices) depends on the market the current stock is traded in. Expect additional choices in the future.
All changes are NOT final. More changes are expected in the 'work' version.
